Architect since 1979 from the ETSAB, she achieved international recognition in the 1980s with projects such as the Igualada Cemetery and the Morella School-Home, carried out together with Enric Miralles. In 1991 she founded her own studio, with projects such as the Massana Art School and the façade of the Boqueria Market in Barcelona, the Department Building of the WU Campus in Vienna, the Caixa Forum in Zaragoza and the Cube I and Cube II Office Towers in Guadalajara (Mexico). She has been a visiting professor at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Columbia University, Harvard University, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Since 2013 he has been an International Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects. His work has received multiple awards and distinctions, including the Gold Medal for Architecture (2022), the Spanish National Architecture Prize (2021), the Neutra Medal of the California Polytechnic University (2016) and the Creu de Sant Jordi (2015).

(Madrid, 1962). Architect since 1987 from the ETSAM, she was awarded a scholarship as Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, where she studied the first year of the Master of Architecture at the Ithaca Campus and at the Cornell Campus in Rome with Colin Rowe. After working in various studios in Spain and the USA, including Peter Eisenman (1988-1990) and Junquera y Pérez Pita (1990-1999), in 1994 he and Luis Rojo de Castro founded their firm, Rojo/Fernández-Shaw arquitectos. Her work has been awarded in competitions, published in specialised media, recognised with prizes such as COAM (2019, 2012) and Luis Moreno Mansilla (2019, 2014), and selected as a finalist in FAD awards and in the VII Biennial of Spanish Architecture. Since 2000, she has been Assistant Secretary of EUROPAN/SPAIN in charge of projects.

(Seville, 1976). Architect since 2001 from the ETSA in Seville and PhD since 2008, he has been teaching since 2005 and has been a tenured lecturer since 2022. He was co-director of the journal Neutra, the official publication of the Seville College of Architects, from 2002 to 2005. He is director of the research group Proyecto y Patrimonio of the Junta de Andalucía and editor of the publication Galerías de la ETSA in Seville. He was director of the XVI Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism together with María González García and Juanjo López de la Cruz. He is currently director of editorial collections at the Arquia Foundation. As a teacher and researcher, he has written and edited publications on architecture, city, territory and contemporary art.
